the Flexible Laminator is the model that can do many of the same jobs,
as well as many more.
Want to laminate roll stock to roll stock? The new Flexible Laminator will fit the bill. Roll goods (such as fabrics, wood veneer, melamine, foils of all types, cork and a host of other materials) can be mated by HMT"s new Flexible Laminator.

Machine Specifications:
- Machine Size: 6’ wide for 5’ panels or less.
- Minimal Floor Space, Basic Machine 10 feet long. Extra 5 foot long in-feed and out-feed sections available.
- Laminate Materials; Sheets or High pressure laminate, Papers, and Phenolic back veneers.
- Roll Goods: fabrics, foils, cork, melamine, flexible foams, shoddy, felt and much more.
- Substrates: particle board, medium density fiberboard, plywood, paper or woodfaced honeycomb, rigid foams: EPS, Styrofoam, and LDPE (Closed or Open Cell)
The flexible laminating system was designed for rollfeed stock laminated to panel material and rollfeed stock to rollfeed stock. The beauty of this design is it's flexibility; hence the name. Operating an HMT Laminator
With the Flexible Laminator you have two modes that the operator can use:
(1) Roll Feed to Rigid Substrate and
(2) Roll Feed to Roll Feed.

As the substrate enters the in- feed area, glue web is applied from the glue web payout. A cordless scissors, shop knife or hot knife cut off is then used to separate the adhesive from the roll. You can run continuously without any cutting of the adhesive until your production is finished. |

While the above is being processed, the roll stock material is positioned on the top on the chrome roller. |

The substrate with the glue web is conveyed into the activation area. Infrared heat bank flash activates the glue web while in motion. |

Just as the rigid substrate enters the rip rolls the roll stock meets the substrate. Both enter the powered pinch roller then exit the out-feed conveyor. |

The panel is now ready for immediate fabrication. |
